Hanlon Dance & Company (HaDCo)

Founded in 2012 at the artistic direction of Eran Hanlon, HaDCo is a Rochester, NY based contemporary dance company. As a collective of diverse dance artists HaDCo incorporates dance theatre, modern dance, performance art, and various forms of multimedia into live performance. Company work is performed locally and emerging nationally and internationally; it is highly suited and adaptable for various venues and spaces including (but not limited to) proscenium stage, black box, galleries, outdoor spaces, and other site-specific locations.



Eran Hanlon is a multimedia dance artist and Artistic Director of Hanlon Dance & Company. His choreography consistently features at theatres, galleries, colleges & universities. City Newspaper recognized him as Best New Choreographer at the 2014 Rochester Fringe Festival and his award winning digital imagery featured on the cover of Metropolitan in 2013.


Hanlon received an MFA in Dance from The Ohio State University. A native to New England, he also completed a BA in Psychology with a minor in Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and MSW from Boston College.


Recent residencies include: Eastman School of Music, Nazareth College, and Wells College with prior faculty appointments at the University of Rochester, Alfred University, The College at Brockport, and Dartmouth College.
