Opera Dolce was founded in 2009 with a mission to produce operatic performances of the highest artistic quality. We aspire to exceed the expectations of demanding opera fans as well as engage potential converts.

3) to build future audiences for opera through performance and discussion for college and high school students.

Opera Dolce, presents an evening of French and Russian song as well as Italian operatic favorites.
With the impressionism of visual artist Eric Girault as its inspiration, Opera Dolce will present a program of French and Russian Song as well as Italian operatic favorites. Songs by Fauré, Ravel, Rachmaninoff and arias by Verdi and Cilea will be performed by soloists Andrew Costello (Cologne Opera, Carnegie Hall, Zürich Opera) and Pamela Lloyd (Theater an der Wien, Czech State Orchestra, Off-Broadway). Our singers will be accompanied by renowned pianist Dan Franklin Smith (Stuttgart Philharmonic, St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Bruckner Festival Linz).
