Marlowe Scott, Visionary, of the award winning musical Over The Rainbow: The Rock Ballet and upcoming Docuseries Over The Rainbow presents “Let it Rock” in which both formats feature an all youth multicultural LGBTQ+ and Allies pre-professional cast.
Marlowe began his dance training with Joanne Costa Kennedy in his hometown Elizabeth, NJ. He continued his dance training at Center Stage Dance and Theater School in East Brunswick, NJ under the tutelage of Mr. George Warren. Marlowe was then accepted into the prestigious dance program at The University of the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC. After graduating he received a scholarship to attend the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in Manhattan, NY. He performed with the Alvin Ailey Company during their City Center Theater season in NYC.
Marlowe has toured Europe as a backup dancer and has performed choreography by former Madonna dancer Slam. He has also performed on NBC’s The Today Show with anchors Al Roker and Shenielle Jones. He has also performed and choreographed for Toyota and NEXT Models. Marlowe’s stage credits include; Off-Broadway, The Thin Line produced by Vogue magazine’s fashion editor, Joe Zee and choreographed by Derek Mitchell. Marlowe performs every year in Manhattan’s annual Mega-Event Broadway Bares, a fundraiser for The Broadway Cares Foundation at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom, on stage with stars Adam Lambert, John Stamos, Eartha Kitt and Laverne Cox.
Marlowe’s students have performed with Chris Brown, Megan Trainor, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé . His students are also performing on Broadway in Aladdin, Moulin Rouge, Frozen the Musical, Hamilton and the leading role in Pretty Woman the Musical. Marlowe is a highly sought after dance competition judge, having judged for the largest dance competitions in the industry.
