Sandhi Smalls Santini

Sandhi Smalls Santini is a performer and playwright based in New York City. THE LAST CHANTEUSE is her first fulllength play. She (Sandra Smalls) received her B.A. in Journalism from the Howard University School of Communications, with a Theatre Arts Minor from the College of Fine Arts at Howard University, Washington, DC. Subsequent studies were obtained in Human Rights at Columbia University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences School of International and Public Affairs. She most recently completed an intensive playwriting program at Woodie King, Jr.'s New Federal Theatre in NYC. Sandhi is an Associate Member (Performer) of The League of Professional Theatre Women; an Associate Artist of New York Live Arts Fiscal Sponsorship Program; and a member of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists)

Sandhi has spent more than 25 years as a professional international cabaret performer. Her extensive list of singing residencies include: The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand; Lemuria and Ephelia Constance Resorts, Seychelles, Africa; Hilton Hotels in Istanbul, Turkey; Munich and Dusseldorf, Germany; Vienna, Austria; and Budapest, Hungary, among others. Other engagements include headlining on several Greek and Italian cruise lines, music festivals, concerts and nightclub performances throughout Europe, the Caribbean and the USA.
