Barnard/Columbia Dances at New York Live Arts features choreography by modern dance legend Merce Cunningham in a new MinEvent arranged and staged by former Cunningham dancer Lisa Boudreau. The piece will be performed with music arranged by Allison Easter of Meredith Monk. This MinEvent pays tribute to the 1976 Event in Barnard’s LeFrak gym performed by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company with live music by Meredith Monk. New works to premiere are by exceptional choreographers Bo Park, NiNi Dongnier, and Lena Engelstein & Lisa Fagan. Produced by the Barnard College Department of Dance and performed by Barnard and Columbia University students.
