An eight-year partnership that brings Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company’s works and it’s pedagogical and performative philosophy to LMU’s campus and the Los Angeles area.
Corlears School
The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company performers teach bi-weekly sessions to families amongst the Chelsea community, they explore the world of ideas through movement techniques, theater, and storytelling.
James Baldwin School
Designed to broaden the artistic experiences of highschool students who have previously experienced school as unresponsive to their needs as individuals, this unique program provides a full semester course work with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company integrating oral history into performance.
NYU Tisch School of the Arts Department of Dance
The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company teaches as part of the Tisch Summer Residency Festival. We also dialogue and give students access to the creative process of the company. NYU Tisch School of the Arts hosts the annual “Dances by Dancers”, a self-produced concert of the dancers and makers inside the company.
