Jessie Young uses dance making as a way to distribute her creative practice – choreographic projects utilized for their immediacy and intensive physical inquiry, often informed by her ongoing interest in the material and digital process of photography and collage. Her work has been produced in Chicago (IL) Philadelphia and Harrisburg (PA) New York City (NY) Puebla (MX) and Cape Cod (MA). She has performed and collaborated with artists including ALEXA GRÆ, Khecari, The Seldoms, Kristina Isabelle Dance Company, Saiko Kino, The Chicago Moving Company, Sara Gurevich, The Space We Make and The Moving Architects.
