As part of BoCA – Biennial of Contemporary Arts
Wednesday, April 22nd at 8pm (3pm EST) launches ????????? ?????? [Online Talks], with the North American choreographer Bill T. jones as the first guest, a key figure in contemporary dance. Identity, genre, disease or social critic are some questions that innhabit the creative universe of Bill T. Jones, artist that is divided between creation, interpretation and the artistic direction of Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company and New York Live Arts. Reflecting on the relationship between epidemics from the past and present (HIV, Covid-19,…) and the contemporary artistic practices.

????????? ?????? [Online Talks] is one among the six activities of the new BoCA Online program, to be followed at BoCA Bienal digital platforms. This program was built to reflect on the state of the world and the architectures of the sensitive that we now inhabit: the body, the house and the camera, elements that are central references to the history of artistic experimentation. BoCA Online is curated by John Romão.

BoCA – Biennial of Contemporary Arts is a biennial project focused on performing arts, visual arts, performance art and music. It takes place in the cities of Lisbon and Porto, simultaneously, with the expansion of its activities to other Portuguese and foreign cities. The third edition of BoCA will take place in 2021.
