You are Only Sea Foam, So Give Yourself Away Like the Sea

Opening this June and on-view through the summer, interdisciplinary and performance artist Emily Oliveira will debut a large-scale installation created for Live Arts’ glass front lobby and building entrance vestibule titled You are Only Sea Foam, So Give Yourself Away Like the Sea. Oliveira’s murals, textiles, and objects act as portals to a queer utopian future, offering tenuous prophecies of leisure, frivolity, eroticism, and survival.
