Karen Harvey

Karen Harvey is a dance artist originally from North Carolina whose choreography has been shown internationally.  She holds a BFA in Contemporary Dance from UNCSA where she was awarded the Chancellor's Award for Excellence.  She currently collaborates with a wide range of artists, dances with Dai Jian, Jin Ju Song-Begin's Da-On Dance and is the Artistic Director of Karen Harvey Dances, a project-based dance theater company.  Since 2010, KHDances has performed in numerous venues throughout New York City and the greater New York area – working within the mediums of modern dance, installation art, site specific performance, live or original music, multimedia and improvisation.
