xgzdiiiiiicdiirrwjfffffffff (pronounced grief)

This is a new work for the void, in the dance mall. In xgzdiiiiiicdiirrwjfffffffff (pronounced grief), Walsh uses formulaic instagram videos and text from public forums on dance as source materials in an anti-dramaturgical viewing environment. It is a spacious and non didactic experience in a dance studio.
This performance is supported by the Live Feed creative residency and commissioning program with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
