The Ballet Academy East 2019 Winter Performance presents the talented dancers of the BAE Pre-Professional Division in a diverse program, which promises to delight and inspire audience members. The joyful and exciting program includes two ballets by George Balanchine, Valse-Fantaisie, staged by Darla Hoover and Elégie, staged by Deborah Wingert, as well as a new work by BAE Principal Jenna Lavin. BAE proudly welcomes back two alumni, Ariel Rose (currently with Miami City Ballet) and Christopher McDaniel (currently with Dance Theater of Harlem) to create new works. Alma Reiss-Navarre will present a new ballet following her successful debut in last year’s BAE Choreographic Workshop.
