2018 Summer Workshop

For 36 years, the BTJ/AZ Company has been on the leading edge of contemporary art, moving audiences around the world with the athleticism, intelligence and human resonance of its work. The 2018 Summer Workshop offers a concentrated opportunity to delve into the thoughtful and vigorous movement training, the innovative creative processes and the provocative world of ideas that inform the Company’s latest works. Led by accomplished and enthusiastic members of the Company, the workshop will include daily classes in contemporary technique, partnering, improvisation/composition and an immersive experience in building new repertory. The intimate environment of the workshop provides an incredible chance to take risks, foster friendships and engage with a community of fellow art makers and thinkers.
