Pause,

Pause, was choreographed, coached, and directed by Deborah Hay over two residencies and two years of practice. Co-choreographed and performed by Eric Geiger, Jess Humphrey, and Leslie Seiters, this is the first time independent artists have collaborated to commission an ensemble work from Hay, who describes the dance as: “a trio that has brought my work to life in a way few others have. The performers’ choice-making is as visible and fleeting as the clarity of each movement made in relation to time, space, and one another. It simply never wavers from an ensemble danced by three startlingly individual artists who have worked closely for nearly a decade. It would be an honor to learn that Pause, will share a long lifetime with audiences to contemplate and enjoy.
