Ariel Rivka Dance’s 2024 Spring Season is a canvas for the authentic expression of a personal journey. Through choreography, a myriad of emotions are illuminated. Each piece in this collection is a deeply personal exploration and a reflection of vulnerability. By sharing these stories through dance, ARD hopes to normalize a diverse spectrum of emotions, and make the stage a platform for connection, understanding, and a celebration of resilience.

Ariel Rivka Dance opens up space for self-reflection in the company’s expansive Spring Season program, featuring beloved repertoire and a World Premiere. The company’s latest work showcases a raw and poignant exploration of uncoupling and transcends the aftermath of being (Un)Coupled. Choreographer Ariel Grossman seeks out the true self—uncovering layers imposed by others and ones we use to protect ourselves—through expressive duets, lingering solos, and powerful collective displays. With live music by composer-in-residence Stefania De Kenessey, this season unfolds an emotional arc highlighting the strength in desire and honesty in perseverance.

ARD will hold a Saturday matinee family performance that will give kids an opportunity for an interactive time to move their bodies and dance!
