MC / Poet Baba Israel hosts a spoken word slam reflecting on the end of the first black presidency and the many questions surrounding President Obama’s legacy. The evening includes the return of Universes who will perform a set and share an excerpt from their new show Party People, which opens this Fall at the Public.  DJ Reborn will provide music for the night so come dance, reflect, and share your thoughts as part of an interactive art installation.

Open Spectrum provides space for reflection on the most vital issues facing communities today. The Fall series titled “Obama Out” looks at the end of the first black presidency and the many questions surrounding President Obama’s legacy.
