Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition

Over 150 talented dancers from around the world, from Poland to Portugal, gather in New York to compete for medals, company contracts, and scholarships to international companies and dance academies. The Rounds, followed by the Finals, give performing opportunities to all dancers selected to enter VKIBC. They are required to perform a classical solo, selected from the list of dances submitted to them by VKIBC, as well as an original contemporary dance. They dance before the panel of judges – one panel for classical dance, another for contemporary dance – all directors of dance companies or dance academies. please visit www.vkibc.org for the list of judges.
