Big Tech (Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple)  has a hand in everything we do: what we think, what we buy, how we vote… And as seen in the last election, the tech companies that wield such tremendous influence over our lives are themselves subject to interference and manipulation.  Meanwhile, the use of Artificial Intelligence (which “learns” from data reflecting the socio-political and historical conditions in which it was created) to make determinations and predictions in high stakes domains such as criminal justice, law enforcement, housing, hiring, and education have the potential to impact basic rights and liberties in profound ways.  Join Gabriel Stricker, Noam Cohen, Virginia Eubanks and moderator Bianca Bosker as they discuss where we are and what is the way forward.
