2026 LET’S. MOVE. NOW. – Young Professionals Ensemble Concert, MOVE|NYC| has commissioned an exciting weekend of six world premieres by Alexander Anderson, Jeroboam Bozeman, Bri Castiller, Anna Lopez, Rachelle Scott, and Ching Ching Wong. Looking to witness the next generation of exceptional dance artists and creators? Then, this performance is not to be missed!
On Sunday, August 30th we hope to celebrate with you for an afternoon of delicious food, sparkling wine, and joyful celebration alongside MOVE|NYC| leadership and this year’s exciting roster of choreographers. This special gathering offers a beautiful opportunity to connect with our community over brunch, followed by inspiring performances from our dancers that capture the heart and artistry of MOVE|NYC|. All proceeds will support our tuition-free artistic training, mentorship, professional development, and mental wellness programs.
About The Young Professionals Ensemble & Program
The Young Professionals Ensemble is MOVE|NYC|’s acclaimed professional youth company. Our performers hail from MOVE|NYC|’s tuition-free Young Professionals Program. The Young Professionals Program is a year-round Mentorship & College/Conservatory Prep Program for New York City teenagers, ages 13 – 18, who demonstrate exceptional potential for a career in dance. The Young Professional Ensemble creates and performs cutting edge works by established & emerging choreographers all over NYC at premier venues such as Radio City Music Hall, New York City Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York Live Arts, BAM, Little Island, BAAD, Gibney, and more. The Young Professionals Ensemble has been featured in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, at the Rockettes’ Christmas Spectacular, on tour with the International Association of Blacks in Dance, and performances with the Scottish Ballet Youth Exchange.
