The New York Kathak Festival is a 3 day immersive experience. Dancers from across the world gather together in the heart of NYC to celebrate kathak, through workshops, discussions, and concerts all designed to deepening their engagement with the art form. The workshops are held during the day (Friday 10-5pm, Saturday 10-5pm, Sunday 10-2pm) and are led by masters of the art form. The concerts are held at the end of each day (Friday 7pm, Saturday 7pm, and Sunday 3pm) and feature a curated lineup of diverse kathak artists.
