LET MY PEOPLE GO

Sarah Kane, English poet and playwright, depressive, in and out of institutions, took her own life at age 28. Charlotte Salomon, a German Jew from a prestigious family haunted by multiple suicides, a visionary and prolific painter, died at age 26 in a concentration camp. The worlds of these two women, and all who have yearned to find a light in the darkness, collide with the themes of bondage and liberty in LET MY PEOPLE GO, a new multimedia dance theatre creation by Astrid Bas.
